Gemeinsam gegen Plastik: Wie dais und CleanHub die Ozeane schรผtzen

Our Ongoing Commitment to Cleaner Oceans

At Dais, design sits at the core of what we do, along with an awareness that businesses have

an impact beyond the products they create. Supporting environmental initiatives is one way we

aim to act responsibly, which is why weโ€™ve been proud partners of CleanHub since 2022.

Through this partnership, we work together to take tangible action against plastic pollution.

Rather than vague promises or surface-level solutions, this partnership allows us to support real

infrastructure that prevents plastic waste from ever reaching the ocean.

Turning intention into measurable impact

What drew us to CleanHub was their commitment to transparency and accountability. Their

digital track-and-trace system verifies that every kilogram of plastic collected is properly handled

and safely disposed of. This level of visibility makes sure our efforts translate into real,

measurable environmental impact, not just good intentions.

Over the past few years, our collaboration has already helped collect more than 4,000 kilograms

of plastic waste, keeping it out of oceans and waterways. Beyond environmental benefits,

CleanHubโ€™s model also prioritizes social impact by creating fair, dignified employment

opportunities within local communities.

Our work with Clean Kerala

Through CleanHub, Dais supports the Clean Kerala initiative in India, a coastal region where

limited waste infrastructure has historically led to plastic being burned or discarded into the

environment. Clean Kerala addresses this challenge by connecting households and villages to

structured waste management systems through door-to-door collection and localized

processing.

A key part of this initiative is community empowerment, specifically for women. Clean Kerala

actively supports women-led waste management groups, providing stable income, training, and

skill-building workshops. These programs strengthen not only environmental outcomes but also

long-term social resilience within the communities involved.

Geethuโ€™s story is an example of this. As a dedicated waste worker and mother, she has secured

a stable livelihood working at Clean Kerala. This financial independence has not only allowed

her to invest in her children's education and well-being but has also empowered her to open her

own shop in the village.

Looking ahead to 2026

Our commitment doesnโ€™t stop here. As we look to the future, Dais has set a goal to collect an

additional 1,000 kilograms of plastic by October 2026 through our continued partnership with

CleanHub and Clean Kerala. Itโ€™s one more step toward reducing our environmental footprint and

contributing to lasting, systemic change.
