Retail Growth Manager

dais is a fast-growing female health brand from Munich on its way from start-up to scale-up. Since our launch in 2022, our products have been represented in over 5,000 stores in the DACH market, and we work with major retailers such as dm, Rossmann, and others. Period underwear was just the beginning for us. Now, we are building dais into the next-generation cycle care and self-care brand, developing new products centered around the female body and cycle.

For this next phase, we are looking for a Retail Growth Manager. A central role between marketing, sales, and business development with the goal of taking our retail business to the next level.

Your mission with us:

  • Turn Trade Marketing into Growth. How do we create more rotation and visibility in our over 5,000 stores? That is the core of your role. You will independently develop trade marketing concepts and major retail projects, from displays and promotions to new activation concepts like store events. You will take them from the initial idea to the store, manage retailers and service providers, and subsequently analyze what works and what we can scale.
  • Grow our Retail Business. You will further develop our existing retail partnerships together with the founders and find new ways for us to grow within our accounts, from new listings and assortment expansions to other revenue potentials. To do this, you will develop compelling pitches and prepare for annual reviews and important retail meetings, where you will also sit at the table yourself. At the same time, you will help shape our expansion in Europe: you will evaluate new markets and potential retail partners, analyze competition and retail structures, and develop our approach for new partnerships from this.
  • Turn Data into Growth. You will dive deep into our retail data and analyze sales, distribution, product availability, assortment development, and other relevant KPIs. You will translate data into concrete recommendations for action and evaluate promotions and retail measures: What worked? What was economically worthwhile? And what do we do next?
  • Grow Together. You will work closely with co-founder Eva and the entire dais team and act as an interface between retail, marketing, product development, operations, and the founders. You will bring retail insights into the team and take responsibility for a working student or intern.

What you bring to the table:

We are looking for A-players who are truly motivated to make a difference and grow with us. You don’t have to know or be able to do everything yet, but you must be eager to learn quickly and take on responsibility.
  • Experience: You have a completed degree and 2+ years of professional experience in retail, trade marketing, sales, business development, consumer goods, consulting, or a comparable environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: You love numbers, enjoy digging deep, and can derive concrete recommendations for action from retail, sales, and performance data.
  • Strong Project Management: You can manage complex projects end-to-end and keep track of details, timings, and budgets, even with many stakeholders involved.
  • Ownership: You don’t wait for the next step. You think ahead, solve problems, and feel responsible for the outcome.
  • Consumer Goods Love: You are enthusiastic about drugstores and supermarkets and find it exciting to see how a good idea becomes a product that really works in retail.
  • Communication: You can express your thoughts clearly and convincingly, both internally and in presentations and conversations with retail partners.
  • Team Mindset: You enjoy taking responsibility, but you don't work in a silo. You want to learn together with an ambitious team, challenge each other, and push things forward.
  • Skills: Fluent German, good English, sound Excel skills, and a confident approach to using AI tools in your daily work.

Why dais?

This position is for anyone passionate about consumer goods who might want to found their own company someday. You will work directly with the founders and our largest retail partners, gain deep insights into building a scale-up, and can help shape things from the very beginning. In addition, there are flexible working hours, two days of home office per week, up to 30 days of remote working within the EU, Wellpass, and a great office in the heart of Munich's city center.

Sounds good?

Send us your CV at careers@dais-group.com and answer three questions for us in a few sentences: Why dais? Why this role? And which project or achievement from your career so far makes you particularly proud?
