Product Innovation Manager

The Dais Group GmbH was founded in 2022 by Eva, Grace, and Jonas and is a young period underwear start-up with the mission to empower menstruating people to confidently master their daily lives without restrictions and to experience their cycle with more ease.

As a "retail-first" brand, dais products are available in well-known drugstore chains such as dm, Rossmann, and Mรผller, as well as in their own online shop.

We are looking immediately for a motivated person for the product development area who wants to take dais to the next level with us and actively help shape the company.

Your mission with us:

  • Trend & Market Analysis: You have a really good sense for market trends, continuously observe what is happening in the market, and identify relevant trends as well as meaningful product expansions for dais.
  • New Developments in the Core Range: You are responsible for the development of new period underwear launches as well as exclusive limited editions, from the initial idea to market launch.
  • Building New Product Categories: You develop new products outside of period underwear, e.g., cosmetics or medical products.
  • Accessories & Merchandise: You manage the development and implementation of accessories and complementary products that meaningfully expand our range.
  • End-to-End Project Management: You take full project responsibility for every product launch from ideation, concept, and sampling to mass production and market launch.
  • Internal Coordination: You coordinate all relevant internal processes and stakeholders (including design, purchasing, marketing, sales, operations) and ensure smooth workflows and clear timelines.
  • Producer Management & Negotiations: You work with producers worldwide and independently negotiate prices, minimum quantities, quality standards, and delivery times.
  • Product Validation & User Research: You plan and conduct product research, tests, and focus groups, gather structured feedback on samples, and derive concrete optimizations from it.

What you bring:

  • Professional Experience: You have several years of experience in product development, ideally in textiles (e.g., underwear) and/or cosmetics.
  • Product Understanding & Quality: You have a good sense for materials, fit, functionality, and quality and know how to turn an idea into a market-ready product.
  • Project Management & Multitasking: You are used to managing multiple development projects in parallel, have excellent project management over your timelines, budgets, and dependencies, and bring projects to a structured conclusion.
  • Communicator & Negotiator: You feel confident and self-assured in communication and negotiation with producers and partners worldwide, from prices and minimum quantities to delivery times.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: You enjoy working with different teams (e.g., design, marketing, sales, operations) and manage to clearly coordinate and involve all parties.
  • Hands-on Mentality: You pitch in yourself, work solution-oriented, and take responsibility, even in a dynamic, growing environment.
  • Team Player: Collaboration and team spirit are central to you, and you enjoy building something together with others.
  • Structured and Efficient: You work in an organized manner, think ahead, and implement tasks purposefully and efficiently.
  • Proactive and Positive Attitude: You bring an open, motivated mindset and tackle topics independently.
  • Willingness to Travel: You are willing to occasionally travel to production sites to accompany development and quality processes on site.
  • Entrepreneurship & Ownership: You actively drive dais forward with your ideas, energy, and sense of responsibility. You donโ€™t just want to manage but shape and really make a difference.
  • Fluent in German and English: You communicate confidently and professionally in both languages โ€“ orally and in writing.
